Chairman of Daar Communications, Raymond Dokpesi, has finally been released on bail after being held in detention in Kuje prison, Abuja.
Dokpesi, who was remanded in the prison by a Federal High Court in Abuja, was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had on December 11, on six counts of money laundering and procurement fraudThe media mogul is alleged to have received about N2.1bn from the office of the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki for the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential media campaign.
