Luis Enrique determined to win 'strange' second leg against Valencia EDUARD GANGOSO

The FC Barcelona manager admits that the seven-goal lead makes for a peculiar situation on Wednesday, but he’s going into the match with the same ambitious mentality as ever
Barça have a massive seven-goal head at Mestalla on Wednesday night (9.00pm CET) in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final with Valencia.
But manager Luis Enrique is treating the game very seriously, as was apparent from his comments at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
Here’s a selection of quotes from the Ciutat Esportiva pressroom:

Wednesday’s game

“It won’t be an easy game, and it will be a bit strange after the result of the first leg. But it’s a good test for us, because it’s the chance to show that we are still competitive in any situation. We need to forget about the first leg result and go and play to win like we always do. We have no idea what kind of Valencia we’ll be up against.”

The unbeaten streak

“Numbers are great as long as they help to lead us towards titles.”

Sergio Busquets

“He got some rest against Levante the other day because he only played 20 minutes. He is one of the most used players this season, and that shows how much weight he carries in the team.”
“He’s a world class player and we all know how important he is for us.”

Highlight of 100 matches

“I have very fond memories of the Champions League Final against Juventus. It was nice, interesting game. But it was also the game with the most tension in the build-up.”

Rafinha

“We don’t know whether Rafinha will be able to help us this season. He’ll still be out for another month and a half and it’s not very easy with injuries like these. You can’t afford to rush things.”
