Paris retain title, Bayern and Barcelona win big

Bayern scored five and Barcelona hit six as they geared up for their round of 16 deciders, while Paris Saint-Germain wrapped up the French title with eight games to spare.

Paris were crowned French champions for a fourth successive season as Ligue 1 top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimović notched four. Laurent Blanc's side clinched the sixth French championship in their history with eight games to spare to set a new Ligue 1 record in the process – Gérard Houllier's Lyon were crowned champions after 33 games in 2006/07.
Arsenal 1-2 Watford (Ighalo 50, Guedioura 63; Welbeck 88)
Odion Ighalo and Adlène Guedioura struck as the visitors stunned FA Cup holders Arsenal in the last eight. Substitute Danny Welbeck reduced the deficit two minutes from time but was unable to prevent the Gunners suffering a third successive home defeat in all competitions for the first time since November 2002.

Las Palmas 1-2 Real Madrid (Willian José 87; Ramos 24, Casemiro 89)
Casemiro headed in a late winner to claim the points for Madrid in a dramatic conclusion to their Canary Island trip. Sent off in added time, Sergio Ramos nodded in from a first-half corner, but the visitors had to dig deep after Willian José levelled with three minutes remaining. Casemiro promptly restored the Merengues' advantage to keep them within four points of second-placed neighbours Atlético.
SATURDAY
Atlético 3-0 Deportivo (Saúl Ñíguez 18, Griezmann 60, Correa 83)
Diego Simeone's side remain anchored in second place in Spain. Saúl Ñíguez headed their opener and Antoine Griezmann struck for the fourth match in succession before captain Gabi set up the third for Ángel Correa.
Barcelona 6-0 Getafe (Juan Rodríguez 8og, El Haddadi 19, Neymar 32 51, Messi 40, Arda Turan 57)
With his side 1-0 up, Lionel Messi missed an 11th-minute penalty, but Munir El Haddadi resumed the scoring before a Neymar double, trademark Messi strike and a 57th-minute Arda Turan goal completed the rout.
Bayern 5-0 Bremen (Thiago Alcántara 9 90, Müller 31 65, Lewandowski 86)
Kingsley Coman set up two for Thiago Alcántara and the first of two for Thomas Müller, with Robert Lewandowski – on as a substitute – scoring Bayern's fourth as they ended a two-game wait for a Bundesliga win.
Sergio Agüero had a frustrating day

Norwich 0-0 Man City
Sergio Agüero was twice frustrated by goalkeeper John Ruddy while City had a scare of their own when Patrick Bamford hit the crossbar for the hosts from 30 metres. The point leaves City well off the pace in the title race.
PSV 1-1 Heerenveen (Te Vrede 53; De Jong 56)
PSV's ten-game Eredivisie winning streak came to an end, though they responded smartly to going behind, Luuk de Jong heading in from Luciano Narsingh's cross for his 19th league goal of the season. That was enough to keep PSV top ahead of their meeting with second-placed Ajax next Sunday.
Hoffenheim 1-0 Wolfsburg (Kramarić 3)
Andrej Kramarić's early strike took a little gloss off a fine week for Wolfsburg, who made it past Gentto the quarter-finals. The visitors' Koen Casteels saved a Kevin Volland penalty after the break.
FRIDAY
Karpaty 1-2 Dynamo Kyiv (Chachua 27; Teodorczyk 55, Yarmolenko 64)
Dynamo Kyiv made it 16 wins from 18 league games, with Denys Garmash setting up both goals. Serhiy Rebrov gave debuts to 20-year-old Artem Besedin and 19-year-old Paul Orzechowski in the second half.
Juventus 1-0 Sassuolo (Dybala 36)
Paulo Dybala's 14th league goal of the season broke the deadlock before Juventus saw out the game to become the first team in history to keep ten consecutive Serie A clean sheets.
